Who is eligible to join the Association?

• Contractor: Any person, firm or corporation holding a contractor license with the Commonwealth of Virginia to engage in the roofing business shall be eligible for contractor membership upon written application and payment of dues as provided in the bylaws.

• Supplier: Any person, firm or corporation primarily engaged in manufacturing, distributing or selling goods or services to contractor members, and who are willing to cooperate with VARC in its efforts to attain its objectives as set forth in Article II, shall be eligible for supplier membership upon written application and payment of dues as provided in the bylaws, and shall have the rights and privileges of contractor members.

• Associate: Any person, firm or corporation not directly involved in roofing contracting, or selling goods or services to roofing contractors, shall be eligible for associate membership, with no voting privileges. Examples of associate professionals include architects, engineers, specifiers, building owners and property managers. Associate professionals can become a member by written application and payment of dues as provided in the bylaws.
