Registration rates, hotel booking details, and cancellation policies for the VARP Summer Convention.
Convention Registration
Sleeping room not included.
Registration includes:
- Wednesday Welcome Reception & Cornhole Tournament with outdoor buffet dinner and open bar
- Thursday breakfast buffet
- Thursday morning education sessions
- Thursday Awards Banquet with open bar cocktail reception, seated dinner, and Roofing Bingo with prizes

Thursday Afternoon Optional Activities
Pool Cabana – Aquatics Center
$20 per person
VARP is reserving a poolside cabana for attendees who want to relax at the Aquatics Center. This is a casual, social option. Fee helps offset rental costs.
Putting Course Party – The Ridges
$20 per person
18-hole putting course designed for fun, social play. Features rolling terrain inspired by the Blue Ridge landscape. All skill levels welcome—no golf experience required.
Important Registration Notes:
- Spouse/Personal Guest registration is for non-industry guests only, not professional colleagues.
- The spouse rate may be used for a registrant’s child or children over age 12.
- Please contact the VARP office if you have questions or need assistance registering.
Sleeping Accommodations – Boar’s Head Resort
VARP’s group rate starts at $189++ per night for standard rooms.
- The room reservation link will be emailed to you after you register for the Convention.
- You may also call Boar’s Head Resort directly at (434) 296-2181 to book your sleeping room.
Group Rate Cutoff: June 15
Do not wait to reserve your room. Rooms may sell out, and nearby hotel options are limited. Booking early gives you the best chance of securing your preferred room type.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Convention registration fees are refundable as follows:
| Through June 19 | Full refund less a $25 administrative fee |
| June 20 – June 30 | 75% refund |
| July 1 – July 8 | 50% refund |
| After July 8 | No refunds |
Registrations may be transferred to another individual.
All cancellations or transfers must be submitted in writing via email to mail@varoofingprofessionals.org. Please allow up to two business days for confirmation.
Important: Sleeping room reservations must be canceled directly with Boar’s Head Resort.
